If I join CrossView Referral Realty, LLC, can I still work directly with buyers or sellers?
No. As a referral agent with CrossView Referral Realty, LLC, you are not permitted to work directly with customers. Instead, your role is to refer those customers to a licensed Realtor® who will handle the transaction.
Why This Policy Exists
This is part of our agreement with our local board: CrossView agents must not actively engage in listing, showing, or representing buyers or sellers. Instead, we operate strictly as a referral-only brokerage, which keeps things simple, compliant, and focused.
That means:
You cannot host open houses
You cannot draft contracts or handle showings
You cannot be listed as the agent on record for a transaction
What You Can Do
You can:
Stay licensed and legally eligible to earn referral fees
Refer clients to any full-service agent of your choosing
Sign referral agreements and receive commission when the transaction closes
This lets you continue to benefit from your license without the responsibilities or liabilities of being involved in the sales process.
