Do I Pay Board of Realtors or MLS Dues?
If I join CrossView Referral Realty, LLC, do I still have to pay Board of Realtors or MLS fees?
No. In fact, you cannot be a member of a Board of Realtors® or an MLS while your license is held with CrossView Referral Realty, LLC in Florida.
Why This Rule Exists
CrossView Referral Realty is a referral-only brokerage. That means our agents do not work directly with buyers or sellers, write contracts, or access MLS data. Since you're not actively listing or showing properties, there's no need—or legal allowance—for board or MLS membership under this model.
One Exception: Licenses in Another State
If you also hold a real estate license in another state, you can maintain membership with a Board of Realtors or MLS in that state. The restriction only applies to your Florida license while it's active under CrossView Referral Realty.
This gives agents who are licensed in multiple states added flexibility while still benefiting from the referral model in Florida.
What You Save
By not being part of a local board or MLS in Florida, you avoid:
Board association fees (often $300–$700+/year)
MLS access fees (often $300–$600+/year)
Supra or lockbox fees
That’s hundreds of dollars saved annually while still keeping your license active and income-eligible.
A Key Advantage of Joining CrossView
Many agents leave real estate simply because the overhead is too high. CrossView Referral Realty eliminates those barriers:
No board or MLS dues
No office or desk fees
No production quotas
You keep more of your money while still earning through referrals.
